A Beer Commercial?
Hey Michael,
I've been a big fan of yours for a long time(Disposable Heroes days)but last night I saw a commercial for Corona Light and your song was playing in the background. Everything you preach against is anti-commercialism and especially anti TV. What made you do this? Needless to say you might have lost a fan here because everything you say is now suspect. I'm hoping you address this and don't ignore the fact that you sold your music to a beer commercial. After seeing this it was like finding out Santa didn't exist. Please email me or if you dont have time just post something to address it. I love your music and don't want to stop listening to you.

Frank, thank you for also posting regarding this important issue. I was just listening to Bob Marle and I had the thought: "Would Bob Marle have allowed his music to be used for any commercial--let alone a beer commercial?" Hmmmmmmmm. As Michael well knows, music is Far too Powerful of a Force to be used lightly. Especially the type of music that Michael creates... and that is Exactly why we are his fans and love him (and pay good money to see and buy his CDs). An explanation from our friend Michael is definitely in order... Peace ~Adam
