EMI has blocked some of the "official" videos in Spain
I had the most amazing time last night at the Michael Franti concert in Barcelona. I was at the concert 7 years ago when he was here as well. Didn't get to dance with him the first time, like I did last night.:).
I was surprised and a bit disappointed that there weren't more people there. But if people in Spain can't access many videos on line, apparently even ones filmed in Spain, no wonder more people here don't know about Michael.
Last night I met a woman who flew in from Vigo (the opposite side of the country) for the concert. She has put spanish subtitles to some of Michael's videos and has them on Vimeo. She's also in this community. Bless her.
Michael mentioned something about coming to Barcelona again next summer. I recommend someone in management look into what's up with the videos being blocked here in Spain.

Hy Ellen,
I am from Germany and we have the same problem to see official videos from MFSH since they signed with EMI - Capitol Records (whatever). YouTube and the local music copyright organisations like GEMA in Germany have no contract to show this videos (I think YouTube should pay something but they won't do) and so these kind of mayor-label videos are blocked.
I can see them now at myvideo.de (don't know if there is one for spain) - if you have nothing against 20 sec advertising before the video starts.

Thank you Ellen for your comments. I am Rosina (the woman from Vigo). I also met Michael after the concert to give him a T-shirt. The video my husband made is not good but I will upload it when I return home. I'm wishing they upload the photos on Facebook!!!! YEAAAAHHH!!!
I didn't heard yesterday that of coming again next summer... I'll have to save money to come again to Barcelona, then. Hahaha.
