A message to Michael

I am not certain this will reach you... but the uncertainties of life are about all I can count on! Really there is far too much that I want to share with you directly to possibly communicate through words (a hug would probably suffice). Simply stated your music saved my life. I was drawn to EVERYONE DESERVES MUSIC out of shear curiosity many years ago while at a record shop looking for inspiration. I quickly realized I hadn't just purchased an album, I had acquired a slice of divinity. Since then I have shared your tunes with as many people as I possibly could, including my parents and sister who have also become incredibly devoted fans (mum also practices with your yoga videos!). I could go on and on stroking your genius and gushing over how important your insights have been, but instead I will cut to the most recent and relevant events. My spiritual condition has been through a 23 year roller coaster ride of self-seeking, self destructive...turbulence. I recently faced the real heavy decision... I believed my only option was to leave my body and my family behind in an attempt to find relief. At that very moment I remembered the words of "pray for grace"...and for the first time in my life I was ready to reach out to my creator and my ancestors for guidance, protection and the strength to give myself a chance to really heal. Thank you for being alive and making music of immeasurable proFUNdity! Wish we could kick it and discuss the revolution!

The above paragraph I just sent to Michael, knowing quite well he is no doubt inundated with fan mail and it will quite likely go un-read. The message is important regardless and I know many of his fans can probably relate to some aspect. I really genuinely have experienced a complete psychological, emotional and spiritual shift in a very short period of time, needless to say proving to me that absolute faith in the one is incredibly powerful. I have let go of the burden of fear, self doubt, regret, anxiety and judgement. I realize now that my existence is inherently valuable (if not priceless) regardless of my financial status, possessions, achievements or lack there of. All human beings are among the creators most beautiful organic mechanisms, and we deserve to treat ourselves and each other with the same respect and admiration that we direct towards the most beautiful, most magical and most thrilling aspects of life.

I wake up with an unprecedented appreciation for the chance to make each day the best day I have ever experienced, and I respect that as Deepak Chopra says "We have the choice to either jump into the abyss of illusion and ignorance or soar into the experience of reality and enlightenment." For me this is a moment to moment choice and one I will strive not to take for granted.

I hope to connect with as many Franti disciples as i can through this website, as I know we all share a core understanding of the real value of Human life, good tunes and LOVE WILL SET US FREE!!!!!
