michael's song where he talks about his mother before he plays

hello all!
i need help! i've seen michael play this song at mountain jam and last night in danbury. he talks about his life growing up and how his adoptive mother always told him and his siblings that no matter how a person is different from you to treat everyone with respect. and i looooooooove the song he plays after but i cannot seem to find it and it's driving me crazy! does anyone know what it's called???
