Moved to Tears

It is amazing to me the power of emotion, (communicated through even the most detached medium) and how profound of an impact it can have on me. I find myself here in Toronto, feeling the most powerfully communicated emotions from all my beloved brothers and sisters from all over the world, and inevitably the tears come rolling out. Amazing is the ability to feel, as for much of my life all I chose to feel was numbness. When I read words or view images that are charged with emotion I feel spiritually transported to the place of that pain, that joy, that shame. I do not run from this but rather I embrace the fact that to feel is a reminder of the connectivity we all share and a to feel the feelings is literally a chance to STAY HUMAN. This community has the potential to allow us to freely express the full range of our emotional experience and evoke/awaken the emotions of one another.
