This summer’s Togetherness Tour isn’t just about music; it’s about coming together as a community to create a better world for all. So alongside the release of my new music video for “The System” (watch here), this summer’s tour will be partnered with a coalition of change-makers including Propeller, Alltroo,  Do It For The Love, Last Prisoner Project, Bamboo Foundation, Headcount, Everytown For Gun Safety, Moms Demand Action and Conscious Alliance to harness the power of music and community to drive positive change across various social and environmental fronts. Read on to find out about all the initiates taking place this summer:

Last Prisoner Project: We’ve partnered with Propeller, a leading advocacy platform, to engage Soulrockers in advocacy efforts throughout the tour all summer long. Together, we will support Last Prisoner Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to criminal justice reform, with a focus on securing the release and reentry of individuals incarcerated for cannabis offenses. Fans can text 99126 to donate and create their own social change profile on the Propeller platform. Concert attendees who donate from the show will have a chance to win a signed setlist at each show.

To kick start this campaign, the Activist Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by my management team at Activist Artists Management, has agreed to match up to $10,000 donated.

Do It For The Love: This summer, $1 from every ticket sale will automatically go to support Do It For The Love, the wish-granting nonprofit I created with my  wife Sara 10 years ago that sends people with life threatening illness, wounded veterans or individuals with special needs to concerts worldwide. Additionally, Do It For The Love has teamed up with Alltroo this summer to give away an exclusive trip to my sound and wellness resort, Soulshine Bali, in Indonesia. Fans can enter to win this fully funded trip by donating to Do It For The Love in any increment HERE.

Advocacy: The tour will also lend support to vital advocacy organizations such as Headcount, Everytown For Gun Safety, Moms Demand Action and Conscious Alliance. Headcount volunteers will be at select shows, helping to increase voter registration; Conscious Alliance will be out collecting nonperishable goods to fight hunger in exchange for a custom poster; and we will be supporting Everytown for Gun Safety’s National Gun Violence Awareness Day and Wear Orange Weekend June 7-9. By standing in solidarity with these organizations, we hope to promote civic engagement, address food insecurity and gun violence prevention.

Reverb: Through my partnership with REVERB, this summer’s tour will implement a comprehensive carbon offset plan to minimize our environmental footprint. Proceeds from select merchandise items at shows will go towards this offset program and directed to the Bamboo Foundation, which supports reforestation and conservation projects worldwide.
