Thank Ade for sharing his dad
Thank Ade for sharing his dad with us in Bend. I thought he looked a little spent by the last song, poor thing. I have been telling my friends about that little tornado boy in the video for days. My kids were up there dancing away again!
My family made a special detour from grandma and grandpa's house to have our first experience at the awesome Les Schwab Ampitheater. It was so much fun to bump into people in stores in town who were going to the show and be around folks who had been to so many shows and knew your music well. Bend is magical area that we have been visiting for a long time.
Wish we could come see you at Key Arena when you come back for the Sound of Sunshine tour...but we love your outdoor concerts and it's easier for our kids to get up front to see. It's gotten to the point that I think my 9-year-old daughter believes that it is one of her inalienable rights to camp out in front at one of your shows. (Today was the second day in a row she put on "All Rebel Rockers" and was up in the living room dancing, listening, and singing along.) I think Michael Franti and open air music are now inextricably linked for my family.
Thanks so much for providing a positive, thoughtful, energetic soundtrack to our lives. There is no other artist that has done more for our collective world view, energy level and happiness. We'll look forward to seeing you when you come back to Redmond/Marymoor or Bend.

Health tips:
Gargle with salt water to stave off throat discomfort.
Most muscle related sports injuries happen within the range of motion. So, massage and ankle rotations will help that calf. Avoid hyper extending in downward dog.
