Michael's Barefoot Concert Series continues this weekend at The House of Blues in Cleveland, OH and the Crofoot Ballroom in Pontiac, MI. If you're coming out, don't forget to bring your shoes to donate to kids in need!
Michael and Soles4Souls, the international shoe charity dedicated to providing free shoes to people in need around the world partner together, in an effort to collect/sponsor 100,000 pairs of shoes! The campaign will serve to raise awareness of the need for footwear both nationally and internationally in order to enhance the lives of families worldwide through a cooperative effort to distribute critically needed footwear.The partnership is especially significant for 2010, as it marks anniversaries for both Soles4Souls (the distribution of its 10 millionth pair of shoes) and for Michael, who decided to go shoeless 10 years ago.TWO WAYS TO DONATE IN EFFORTS TO REACH 100,000 GOAL:Michael and Soles4Souls, will partner to raise money through the charity's “$1 equals 1 pair” program. For every dollar that is raised, Soles4Souls will donate/sponsor a pair of shoes to someone in need.1) Fans can donate/sponsor shoes, funds and learn more about the programs both HERE and at www.Soles4Souls.org.2) Fans can also donate/sponsor via text message by texting keyword “FRANTI” to 20222.

donating shoes
I didn't know about this when I went to the concert at the Calvin in Northampton this past Tuesday. So, I went to the concert in Providence this past Friday with some shoes but didn't know what to do with them. I still want to donate. Is there another time/place that I can get them somewhere to go to Soles for Souls? Thank you!
