It was an intimate and a huge night of music, love and money - raising $26,747.60 toward disaster relief for the Queensland, Australia flood, Christchurch earthquake and the Japanese tsunami victims which took a toll on millions of people across the world. June 14, 2013Platinum recording artist Michael Franti and his band Spearhead will kick off the first leg of their “All People Tour” on September 4th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The 24-city North American run, and select concerts this summer, in support of his July 30th album release All People, includes performances in Philadelphia, Boston, New York and San Francisco, as well as Canada, before the leg concludes on October 12th in Los Angeles. At the time of writing, the weather outside my window has gone from being a glorious display of sunshine and warmth of the last few days to a grey, drab affair that can’t even be bothered of rain.
