CARE
CARE's mission is to bring an end to poverty in the world by helping people to help themselves. CARE has found that one of the keys to eradicating poverty is the education of girls into strong leaders in their communities and households. In December of 2009 I took a trip to East Timor and visited some of CARE's projects as well as meet artists and musicians in this war torn country that has became the world's newest independent nation in 2002. I hope you will be inspired by this short documentary about my visit and get involved in the work that CARE does helping to empower people in East Timor and all around the world.
