Yes! yes! you folks in australia will have a special treat of being with mikey on his birhtday!!! ~~~~please make him feel special onhis special day!! i know you all will!!~~~~~ POWER TO THE PEACEFUL.... love to the loveless!!!!
The price of motels etc goes through the roof at Easter. You can expect to pay at least a thousand dollars for a motel room for the weekend. You can sometimes get private houses for around the same price, and if you can get enough people to chip in and share the pain, that's a better way to go. There are shuttle buses that run all day and well after everyone has finished, but be prepared to miss the encore or queue up for hours. Shuttle busses also run to a couple of neighbouring towns, there is information about this at www.bluesfest.com.au The best option is to camp at the festival, just be prepared for wet weather. Gumboots, ponchos and tarpaulins to keep the rain off your campsite and plastic boxes to keep clothes etc. dry.
hey man
soo this is my first year there ,but now people that have gone in the past
they say it is best to bite the bullet and pay to camp on site as the roads to the site 5km or so out of town are chocker and move at like 10kmh at least then your there ready to rock every morning
that and camping in byron can be a expensive excise its self
i'll be there keep an eye out for a guy with a mowhawk and dreads(baby dreads) playing with glowing toys frizbee and football ect. and come join in
does anyone have information about lodging (hotels, motels, bed and breakfast) in byron bay? i've looked on the net, but i don't have an idea of how far the various lodgings are from the festival site. any information is really appreciated.
