I have to say that this concert exceeded my expectations. I have never seen an artist who is that connected to the fans. My experience started with a very sweet crew member who, to my amazement, recognized me from a facebook post the night before. I went to this concert to be surrounded by positive energy and I was not disappointed. I am a cancer survivor and I am setting out on a journey that, to the best of my knowledge, has not been done before. I needed the uplift to calm some of my fears. I got all that and more. Thank you, keep spreading the positive vibes.
it's rare to have a performer live up to one's expectations after hearing their CD. Even rarer, still, to exceed those expectations. All I have to say is, Franti blew me away. Best concert I've seen since Jeff Buckley opened for Julianna Hatfield in 1995 (yeah, I'm that old).
Nice story, "bryanc", good luck w/ all!!! Hope I get pulled on stage again like I did on the cruise ship - wearing my robe & w/ my inflatable guitar - Jay & Dave let me 'sit in' w/ them - you are ALL SO AWESOME!!!!!! Brenda & I can hardly wait to SHAKE IT SHAKE IT SHAKE IT!!!!
I'll be there. I became a big fan of Franti while in rehab a few months ago. I finally had to face my demons. One of the counselors played "Yell Fire" while we were driving to a weekend event, and the CD just hit the right note with me. I listened to "One Step Closer To You" 100 times over the next couple of weeks, as it really told the story of how I felt about the love and support from my wife. Hopefully I will hear it live.
Hey Michael. I have seen you three times so far. Twice at Bonnaroo (2007,2010) and at Hangout this past weekend. I am living with my parents in Delaware for a summer internship and decided to bring my mother to your Allentown show. I am sure she will love it as much as I have.
