About Me

Who am I? I am a spirit soul having an in-body experience. I was born in this life on planet earth, in the United States of America in the state of Illinois. I will be celebrating my 40th birthday this October. I want to go to follow my bliss. I have been spending the last 20 years raising two gorgeous and intelligent daughters. I want to work on my spiritual journey. I am currently working on being a full time vegetarian. I want to work on getting more healthy and finding some kind of exercise that works for me. Maybe some form of gentle yoga, more for stretching and for stress relief. I also want to work more on chanting everyday. I want to work more on doing art work and building altars. I want to work on becoming a more happy person and spread loving kindness everywhere I go. I want people to recognize that true beauty comes from within. I want to feed more hungry people. When I die I want to stay with my one loving supreme creator forever. Peace out to all you girl and boy scouts!

Interests

Of course, Michael Franti and his music and message but beyond that I am interested in creating artwork, particularly collage type art related to spiritual/ religious themes. I am interested in vegetarian cooking. I am interested in the Bhagavad Gita and chanting Hare Krishna and making offerings to the Supreme Lord. I love creating altars. I love animals. I especially love my little chihuahua Bindi. I enjoy feeding the homeless. I like all things multi-cultural. I am very inspired by Jane Addams and her Hull House. What an amazing woman! I have always been a feminist but I guess more of a traditional feminist. One of my favorite shirts I had when I was a little girl said, "Anything boys can do girls can do better!" I am interested in helping the women and girls of Afghanistan and other oppressive areas of the world. I hate injustice and genocide.
