I first fell in love with Spearhead in college back in the mid-90's. My first show was at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul, Minnesota around 1996. My first CD was "Home" which remains one of my faves to this day. They were touring as part of the Smokin Grooves tour with Cypress Hill and a bunch of other great, rowdy acts like Cypress Hill! The furthest away I've since seen them was in Jacksonville, FL at the Free Bird. I recently saw them in Iowa at the Saturday in the Park Festival. I first met Michael on the capital lawn in St. Paul for the Ripple Fest where he was so kind as to walk around and greet us fans before the free show! :) I've also seen them perform at the Northrup, where I got to meet Manas before the show, the State Theater and Trocaderos in Minneapolis. I'll have to check my stubs - there are more shows too! It's been a long, strange trip watching/hearing them evolve from a band who no one had heard of to a top 40 band, and of course, lots of fun and great jammin! I LOVE SPEARHEAD!!!! :)
