I was born and raised in a small town in Vermont and now live in an even smaller town in Maine. Even though I have severe Meniere's Disease in both ears and suffer from contstant episodes of vertigo, I've accepted the fact that road/trail riding can no longer be an option for me. So, I've modified and I've hooked my bike up to a trainer in my garage and watch the sun rise every morning or bike under the stars in the winter. When I'm not spinning you'll find me barefoot running through my small town by the river, watching the sun rise through the mist and being in awe as the eagles glide silently over head. Combine that with morning yoga and meditation, and for me, there's no better way to start off my day. I'm also a practitioner of Integrated Energy Therapy and an active Hospice volunteer.I try to support the local community by buying and cooking with vegetables from the local farms. As I feel we are walking pieces of art, I've adorned myself with quite a few tattoos, each holding special meanings and further enhancing who I am. As a wonderful quote so beautifully puts into words that which I cannot, "The Tattoo is the mark of the soul. It can act as a window through which we see inside, or it can be a shield to protect us from those who cannot see past the surface" Finding my true path and helping to bring peace to this world is my mission in this life...what that looks like exactly is not yet determined but finding and walking the path is all part of the adventure....
