About Me
I am Louis Yuhasz -I'm a 47 year old man who had a father that was over 550 lbs when he died 10 years ago at an early age of 65. I created a non profit in his name called Louieskids.org -my dad was known always as big Louie. I never knew my dad smaller than about 400 lbs ever in my life. I didn't want kids to go down the same path as my dad -so to date I've raised over a million dollars single-handedly to help kids who are struggling for help. Today kids are not just 40 or 50 lbs overweight -today they are 100's of pounds overweight. Louieskids.org helps with therapy, exercise trainers, maybe a YMCA membership -whatever it is Louieskids.org is fighting obesity ...one child at a time.
Louieskids.org hosts a yoga marathon every year in Charleston, SC -right in the middle of the most historic park (Marion Square) in the nation. Join the 100's of yogi's for a yoga marathon to fight childhood obesity -this year, Saturday, October 9th, 2010 12-3.
