On a more serious note, I want to put an end to the illegal mineral mining in the Congo region that drives the worst violence against women and their families. The Coltan in our cell phones comes at a high price to the people who live on the land that contains those minerals. Families are presently forced out by organized corporate gangs who rape and brutalize all women to force their families to move. If you want to join me, my sister and the Jesuit Refugee Services coalition, I hope you'll join our campaign to demand cell phone companies only purchase these minerals from legally harvested lands without violating basic human rights laws.
