Life is an adventure for me. My motto: I never regret what I do, only the things I choose not to do. I will try anything once and because of this I have lived a life that is impossible to capture in a paragraph. I am amazed at what I learn by just being. I meditate in the morning, take dance classes, teach, am working on a second degree, paint, make short films, am working on a book, oh and volunteer. I love living and my thirst for exploration expands by the minute. I have traveled to so many places and I am not slowing down a bit. My family thinks I am a little crazy but my twin sister put it best when she called me, "wide-eyed and open-hearted." I cherish every experience, even the bad ones. I just returned from a intense trip to Spain to visit a friend: my passport and wallet were stolen but the next three days were spent not in tears but in wine, cheese, food, and Gaudi. It was great. I am leaving soon to go to Ghana to work on a clean water project I started with a friend. What else is in store for me is something I live to find out....! You do what you can with the moments you have...or you can dream about what you want to do with those moments and live each with the determination to extract the juice out of every moment. The latter is how I choose to live. Life is however long we want it to be and I want my life to be filled with memories of great experiences, friendships, lessons, and laughter.
